Mesa Verde   Mount Princeton CreekGarden of the Gods

Oregon is a land of widely different ecosystems, from moist, cool, coastal rain forests to the dry high desert of the east, with plenty of volcanic features, rivers, and valleys thrown into the mix to make any outdoor-loving person happy.

It is said that espresso became popular on the west coast as a way to combat seasonal depression, caused by lack of sunlight. I don't know if that's true, but I do know that good coffee is easy to find just about everywhere you go. And yes, it does rain quite a bit in western Oregon... and that's why it's green and lush. If Bigfoot is real, it's no surprise he's chosen to live in Oregon's forests. After all, where else can you find great cappuccino and such a variety of beautiful hiding places together like this?
